We are proud to offer our AxleBack exhaust for the 2008+ Subaru WRX STi Hatchback/5 Door and the 2011+ Subaru WRX Hatchback/5 Door. Our goal with this project was to develop a high flowing, low-drone design when combined with a full TurboBack Exhaust.
The result was a 3" into dual 2.25" axleback featuring quad double wall staggered tips, all stainless TIG welded construction that is Handbuilt to Order in America. This design also has the benefit of perfectly even flow from the right to left as well as out of each of the four tips. No biased flow here like you may find on muffler designs that use a baffled internal resonance chamber.

For comparison purposes we will use a scale of 1-10 for volume, 1 being stock and 10 being no mufflers.
Magnaflow: The quietest option we offer is our old version that uses a Magnaflow muffler, this configuration is very quiet even with a full turboback exhaust. 5" Mufflers: This is our new design that uses our in-house mufflers. We build each of these mufflers by hand here in our shop with our usual attention to detail. This "Less Quiet" version uses 2 mufflers that measure 6" long and 5" outer diameter. Despite their small size, these mufflers are extremely effective. We offer this version with our 3.5" single wall slash cut tips in both staggered and non staggered flavors. We also offer this version with our exclusive double wall 3.5" or 4" tips both staggered and non-staggered at a $175 or $150 premium, respectively. This is about a 5 on the scale.

This "Louder" version uses 2 mufflers that measure 6" long and 4" outer diameter. Despite their small size, these mufflers are extremely effective. The 4" mufflers are louder than the 5" mufflers. We also offer this version with our exclusive double wall 3.5" or 4" tips both staggered and non-staggered at a $175 or $150 premium, respectively. This is about a 7 on the scale.
No Mufflers: Finally, the sound of the Sedan Muffler Delete for the hatch! We have had people banging down our door for this since we released the original muffler delete for the sedan. We offer this version with our 3.5" single wall slash cut tips in both staggered and non staggered flavors. We also offer this version with our exclusive double wall 3.5" or 4" tips both staggered and non-staggered at a $175 or $150 premium, respectively. This is a 10 on the scale.
Please keep in mind that we only trust extremely skilled craftsmen to build your parts. Qualified welders who are able to meet our standards in both fit and finish are extremely hard to find and as a result are very expensive. The end result is the highest quality, most functional product that is also a work of art worthy of a gallery.

We include a gasket that combines with the stock gasket to adapt this 3" axleback to the stock midpipe.

Urethane Exhaust Hanger Bushings:
These are recommended if you race your car or enjoy spirited driving. During hard cornering the exhaust "wags" left to right which sometimes causes the tips to touch the bumper. When this happens there is a chance your bumper can be damaged. The best way to avoid this is to use our urethane exhaust bushings to hold the exhaust in place better than the factory rubber bushings. For occasional spirited driving we recommend 2 bushings replacing the two rear-most bushings. For occasional driving on a race track we recommend 4 replacing all of the factory bushings used to hold the axleback on. For dedicated racers we recommend 5, this replaces all of the factory exhaust bushings used to hold the exhaust to the car.

I had to wait a month after I ordered my 4 inch muffler axelback. That being said it was definitely worth waiting for. It sounds great. Really happy.

After a couple months of thinking if I wanted to go with mufflers or not and a countless number of YouTube videos I finally went with the muffler delete axleback package and I am sure glad I did. I can't say enough good things about this exhaust. The sound is wonderful. I listened to too many different exhaust companies exhausts and videos on YouTube. I wanted to make sure I got the right one that was good for me. I was really dead set on getting the SPT exhaust from subaru but am glad I didn't and ended up getting this one. I was worried from past reviews and looking on forums that this was going to be too loud and worried I wouldn't be able to talk to passengers comfortably or listen to music easily especially since I have the hatch version and an open cab back there over the exhaust , but I don't feel this is an issue at all with being "too loud" (my girlfriend doesn't think it last excessively loud either!). I was expecting it to be exponentially louder than it is but it is great, not too loud. I just have the axleback for now, but hopefully in the near future I will also add the Nameless midpipe.

So, I'm one of those people that loves my car more than people. I also respect my car and don't want a tin can exhaust one it. Now that that is out of the way... this system is awesome! I have the 5" mufflers on a 2013 WRX, and it is perfect. Not too loud, no drone. It is louder than stock (duff) so yes it is louder on the highway, but no drone. Those two things are different. I would say it is about 20% louder in generally, but it sounds the way the car should have come stock. Idle is very quiet, and you won't wake your neighbors if you don't want to, but at full throttle it just plain sounds mean. I think 5" mufflers are the perfect fit if you are debating between the 4" and 5". At stoplights or showing off sometimes I wish I had the 4", but whenever I go on a long drive I really appreciate the quiet (maybe even think 5% less noise would be good). I hope that will help some people; I had a lot of trouble deciding between the two.
Furthermore, everyone who has gotten in my car (literally everyone) has comment on how good it sounds. It just purrs so nicely. Actually it sounds very angry but in a refined way. In fact, the three people I'm sitting with all just agreed that it sounds great and are now talking about it, really! So there is an idea if you are reading and debating: just go buy it.
Lastly, Nameless is awesome. Really great people, great idea, lovely to talk to. My parts were delivered in two weeks even when I told them they could take their time because I was out of the country.

I was nervous on how much droning there would be with the hatchback after reading all the reviews. I can honestly say, the droning (if any) is hardly noticeable. In 4th gear at 40-50mph there is absolutely zero drone. The majority of the bark comes from 1000rpm's to about 4500rpm's, after that, the exhaust note stays the same (easier to not draw too much attention to yourself).
The hardest part of the install for me was putting the new bushings on (really stiff, definitely recommend at least 2, or best case 4), other then that, install was a breeze, really no previous experience required at all.
Yes it does take almost a month from payment to shipment but it is WELL worth the wait.
Stop debating if you should get an exhaust, every exhaust these guys make is amazing quality, YOU WILL LOVE IT! I kinda wish the 5 inch muffler was a little louder but it'll give me room to grow with other mods. As for fitment in the bumper, the 3.5 inch single tipped staggered gives you the appearance of a larger exhaust but it doesn't draw attention (looks very similar to the stock exhaust).

This exhaust was exactly what I was hoping for. The build quality is impeccable.
I purchased a 5" axle back with 3.5" single walled staggered tips. It looks great on my car, and sounds even better. I love that there is little to no drone at speed, but rumbles for days when I put my foot down. It is such a deep and throaty sound, but not overdone. I highly recommend Nameless performance, and would recommend it to anyone who asks about it. While it took some time for delivery, the wait is so worth it.

I received my 5" axel back exhaust and was blown away by the quality of the fabrication. Installation was a breeze and it's a shame that it's under the car because it's a work of art. The exhaust note is PERFECT for what I wanted. It's throaty and loud but not overdone. For me, it's just want I was looking for. I'm anxious to get my DP and MP now!
I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend this product to anyone looking for a throaty and rock solid axel back exhaust.

I ordered the axleback with the 5" mufflers. It has the perfect sound level for me and if I swap out the midpipe later it still won't be too loud. It takes a little time to get your order but the build quality and fit are excellent. It only took about 20 minutes to swap out. Very happy with my purchase.

I ordered the Muffler Delete version for my 2013 WRX. Everything was cut perfectly for the car. Fitment is great, didn't take much to put it on, and the sound is very very deep. There is no raspy or fart can sound. I drive 40 miles each way to and from work on an interstate and you hear the exhaust some but not the rediculous drone sound. Great product, great Customer Service, and USA made.

Just got my Nameless muffler delete yesterday and installed it. I have to say the welds are amazing and it does look like a work of art. My 2014 WRX hatch is all stick beside the axle back and it sounds out of this world. Yes it's loud, but not crazy loud and at highway speeds you can still talk in the car and talk on the Bluetooth with no issues. The car seems to run and rev up a bit smoother and so far I have picked up about 3MPG. Now there are only 2 things I don't like. One I'm not a huge fan of the 2.5-3" set up with the jumper gasket-sure it works, but it does seem to leak a bit when cold at times. I would have used a 2.5 flange and pipe that expanded to 3" if need be, but oh well I did not design it. Also I placed my order on 1/21/14 and just got it on 4/02/14 when I was told 2-3 week lead time with about 5 day shipping time, that I was not super happy about at all. Overall it a great product.

Craftsmanship and quality is everything I expected. I have the 5 inch mufflers with 3.5 double wall staggered tips. The sound and finish is excellent. I am wanting to add the midpipe next to complete the catback!
