We are proud to offer our AxleBack exhaust for the 2008+ Subaru WRX STi Hatchback/5 Door and the 2011+ Subaru WRX Hatchback/5 Door. Our goal with this project was to develop a high flowing, low-drone design when combined with a full TurboBack Exhaust.
The result was a 3" into dual 2.25" axleback featuring quad double wall staggered tips, all stainless TIG welded construction that is Handbuilt to Order in America. This design also has the benefit of perfectly even flow from the right to left as well as out of each of the four tips. No biased flow here like you may find on muffler designs that use a baffled internal resonance chamber.

NEW in April 2012! We now offer 4 different volume levels for the GR Hatch!
For comparison purposes we will use a scale of 1-10 for volume, 1 being stock and 10 being no mufflers.
Magnaflow: The quietest option we offer is our old version that uses a Magnaflow muffler, this configuration is very quiet even with a full turboback exhaust. We offer this version with both our 3.5" single wall slash cut tips and our 3" double wall tips in both staggered and non staggered flavors. We also offer this version with our exclusive double wall 3.5" or 4" tips both staggered and non-staggered at a $175 or $150 premium, respectively. This is about a 2 on the scale.
5" Mufflers: This is our new design that uses our in-house mufflers. We build each of these mufflers by hand here in our shop with our usual attention to detail. This "Less Quiet" version uses 2 mufflers that measure 6" long and 5" outer diameter. Despite their small size, these mufflers are extremely effective. We offer this version with our 3.5" single wall slash cut tips in both staggered and non staggered flavors. We also offer this version with our exclusive double wall 3.5" or 4" tips both staggered and non-staggered at a $175 or $150 premium, respectively. This is about a 5 on the scale.
4" Mufflers: This is our new design that uses our in-house mufflers. We build each of these mufflers by hand here in our shop with our usual attention to detail. This "Louder" version uses 2 mufflers that measure 6" long and 4" outer diameter. Despite their small size, these mufflers are extremely effective. The 4" mufflers are louder than the 5" mufflers. We offer this version with our 3.5" single wall slash cut tips in both staggered and non staggered flavors. We also offer this version with our exclusive double wall 3.5" or 4" tips both staggered and non-staggered at a $175 or $150 premium, respectively. This is about a 7 on the scale.
No Mufflers: Finally, the sound of the Sedan Muffler Delete for the hatch! We have had people banging down our door for this since we released the original muffler delete for the sedan. We offer this version with our 3.5" single wall slash cut tips in both staggered and non staggered flavors. We also offer this version with our exclusive double wall 3.5" or 4" tips both staggered and non-staggered at a $175 or $150 premium, respectively. This is a 10 on the scale.
Please keep in mind that we only trust extremely skilled craftsmen to build your parts. Qualified welders who are able to meet our standards in both fit and finish are extremely hard to find and as a result are very expensive. The end result is the highest quality, most functional product that is also a work of art worthy of a gallery.
Here are some videos on our blog of the version that uses the magnaflow muffler: GR Hatch AxleBack Exhaust Video
We include a gasket that combines with the stock gasket to adapt this 3" axleback to the stock midpipe.
Finally, here are the Beta Test Notes written up by the local GR hatch owner who ran our prototype testing.

Urethane Exhaust Hanger Bushings:
These are recommended if you race your car or enjoy spirited driving. During hard cornering the exhaust "wags" left to right which sometimes causes the tips to touch the bumper. When this happens there is a chance your bumper can be damaged. The best way to avoid this is to use our urethane exhaust bushings to hold the exhaust in place better than the factory rubber bushings. For occasional spirited driving we recommend 2 bushings replacing the two rear-most bushings. For occasional driving on a race track we recommend 4 replacing all of the factory bushings used to hold the axleback on. For dedicated racers we recommend 5, this replaces all of the factory exhaust bushings used to hold the exhaust to the car.

This is my second Nameless axleback (used the previous one for almost two years before deciding to upgrade). It arrived on time, as promised, and was in perfect shape. I love the sound coming from the car now, and many friends comment on the quality of sound. I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of the product, and the knowledge of the staff. Best product I've ordered for my car in a long time!

Was debating between the 5" and magna flow option for a great period of time. Finally settled on the magna flow with 3.5" single wall tips.
Ordered 10/18 which was a saturday so no processing or anything until that monday and received in 11/23.
The welds looked awesome and I bolted the axle back up right away. It is only slightly louder than stock as they state but as it warms up and breaks in it does become slightly louder. It is a perfect tone and sound for not being overly loud but enough to hear the exhaust note while driving. I LOVE it.
These guys are top notch and Ryan has been so helpful in all the questions I have for him. I definitely plan on buying from them again.

I've known nameless for quite some time. I had them make me a killer mid pipe w/resonator + muffler delete system for my 2011 sti. I made the mistake of buying a Invidia Cat-less down pipe instead of going with their down pipe. Either way I loved their product and if I could go back I would stick with the nameless down pipe. I since traded it in for a FRS and it as well has their exhaust package installed. Sounds like a dream.
Recently picked up my wife a 2014 WRX Hatch. We don't really plan on modifying the car since the FRS is a track car now. The GR Hatch muffler delete gave just enough sound to the stock exhaust that everyone thinks it has a full catted Turbo back. False. Just some awesome Nameless work.
100% pleased. Will be coming back for a turbo back when the time comes.

I researched exhausts for like 2 mos. My friend got a Q300 on his hatch and it was just too loud for me. I wanted something more refined sounding like the g35 or 350z sound level. I got the Nameless Magnaflow 3.5 in staggered double wall. Its perfect. Just enough boxer rumble to know its there while not too full of base and at cruising speed zero drone. Fitment was spot on. Install was quick. It feels lighter than the stock exhaust as well. It took a month to get but was perfect and worth the wait I have no regrets. I plan to buy the nameless downpipe with extra bung for a wideband in the future. Oh its made in the USA is a plus too.

I got the Quad Exit AxleBack Exhaust with 5" Mufflers, Brushed Stainless finish, and 3.5" Quad Non-Staggered Single Wall tips. They actually had it done really quickly, but I was traveling so I had to wait. It was packed safely and well, and didn't really come with formal instructions, there is literally 2 nuts+bolts from the stock exhaust to reuse and the hangers and a single provided gasket to use. The orientation is clear, and the hardest thing (which was still easy, unless you're OCD like me) is aligning the exhaust once you have it hung.
The exhaust sounds amazing and has had a significant effect on the sound note of my 2013 WRX, and I love it. That being said, at highway speeds, the sound is not annoying or too loud at all. Great product, making the WRX sound like the beast that it is.

I purchased the muffler delete with 4" double walled, non-staggered tips for my 2013 hatch. And it sounds amazing. Welds are beautiful. Quality overall is great. I'll suggest nameless to anyone now. Really gives that suby rumble. Looking to add a nameless mid and down pipe when funds permit. haha

I purchased the 5" muffler axleback for my '13 WRX Hatch. Perfect fitment, took 10 min to put it on. Sounds great, good throaty sound but not overly loud and obnoxious. Great quality.

I got the 4" muffler quad staggered double wall axle back. I was looking for something not too loud but still fun sounding when I step on it, and makes almost no sound at idle. The exhaust met all these criteria for me. It might be a bit too loud for me if I install a downpipe but that will be later on down the road. The build quality of the exhaust and welds are high quality.

As with every other person and review, fit and finish was great. The welds look amazing and clean. Everything was symmetrical and even on the car. Installation was so easy I didn't even bother pulling it into my garage. I went with the muffler delete, now you can hear it while you drive, but to me that's not a drone since you can still hear the classic rumble. To me a drone is like that civic, that all of our friends have had, and has a fartcan on it and is on consistent loud noise. It sounds amazing WOT, down shifting, rev matching and on start up. When you are cruising below 50 and are maintaining constant speed it is almost silent. Over 60 there is a noticeable slight rumble and increases from there. I highly recommend this product :)

We considered every alternative for our 2013 WRX and chose the Nameless axelback 5" Quad, non-staggered.
It was great value compared to OEM; sounds perfect [low bass-tones]; adds noticeable throttle response; gets compliments everywhere; etc... I would recommend Nameless and this exhaust to anyone.
