 Product Description

This is our downpipe for the 2008+ (GR) Chassis Subaru WRX and STi. With our unique divorced design you will come on boost sooner, hold boost for longer, and have a rock solid boost curve. Our downpipe incorporates a few proprietary design features that make this the best performing downpipe on the market. This downpipe will also bolt up with the new 2015 (VA) Chassis STI.


  • Installation is a breeze, all of the bolts can be accessed from the top of the engine eliminating the up and down dance that is usually the norm with a downpipe install.
  • Possibly the best feature, is that the divorced island that we use is sized properly. This means no trimming, no cutting, no hours and hours of test fitting.
  • Extra o2 sensor bung and plug now a standard addition, so you can run a wideband air:fuel ratio gauge.

  • This bundle REQUIRES a tune for proper vehicle operation. If you don't already have a COBB Accessport, select the Accessport option above for a killer deal.
  • This product DOES NOT fit right-hand drive vehicles.

  • Realtime Tuning:  Changes can be made to the map in realtime, while the engine is running.  Greatly speeds up the tuning process and allows quick changes to powerful features like Lauch Control, Flat Foot Shift, and map switching.
  • Launch Control: Set RPM threshold for performance launching the car from a stop.  Builds boost and generates instantaneous horsepower off the line.
  • Flat Foot Shifting:  Keep the throttle on the floor during shifts and maintain boost between gears with this customizable RPM setting.

Stage 1: +12% HP and +19% TQ
Hardware Requirements: Stage1 - Otherwise stock vehicle with the following modifications*:
 - Intake Requirements: Stock airbox with stock air filter
 - Exhaust requirements: Stock exhaust or upgraded cat-back exhaust

Stage 2: +15% HP and +24% TQ
Hardware Requirements: Stage2 - Otherwise stock vehicle with the following modifications*:
 - Intake Requirements: Stock airbox with stock air filter
 - Exhaust requirements: Upgraded turbo-back exhaust**

* The addition of any other hardware may make the vehicle perform poorly.
**These maps are NOT designed to be used with an aftermarket race downpipe that does not have a catalytic converter (i.e. catless). Doing so greatly increases the chance for boost spikes and boost creep.

    This downpipes is insane. I currently have a stock 2016 STi with the Nameless Turboback exhaust and Cobb Accessport on a stage 2 ACN 91 OTS tune. I already had their catback with 4" quad staggered tips and 4" mufflers, which to me was a little quiet (7/10) but sounded very nice. I then paired it with their downpipe and the results are ridiculous. Noise level is definitely a 10/10 so expect this downpipe to make your car a hell of lot louder. As far as noise quality, I have not heard a better sounding STi than those that carry a Nameless Exhausts. The exhaust note of the turbo back is definitely a step up from the cat back. It sounds like a lion taking down an antelope. Just pissed off at the world. You can hear and feel how much easier the exhaust travels down the car in comparison to the incredibly restrictive stock downpipe. You may be considering a larger/cheaper company to buy from but don't. The welds, the finish, the extra O2 bung, even the packaging screams quality! Not to mention the fact that it is made in America. Do yourself a favor and just buy it.

    So I already had installed a Nameless catback(4" mufflers/3.5 single wall tips), on my 2016. The cat-back by itself already sounds amazing, but once I got the downpipe installed, I have to say this is the best sounding, smooth flowing exhaust system on the market. Best money spent. I had to wait a little while for it to arrive, but it was worth the wait. Nameless is high quality, no doubt.

    Well, lets start with lead times and shipping. I live in PA, and after I ordered I got everything within a week to a week and half. That's impressive in my book. Next, un-packaging, was an amazing moment in itself. The workman-ship is amazing. Being a machinist I really appreciate seeing the beautiful finishes, perfect bends, and the perfect welds. Which leads us into the install. One can usually guess when it looks that good, there won't be many issues. And guess what, there were none. I have the catted DP with their mid-pipe, and 3 1/2" muffler delete axle backs with the Cobb SF intake and V3 on a 93 stage 2 tune. The first time I started the car, I couldn't contain my excitement! The car sounds incredible! An even bigger head turner then it was before! I will admit, for me its a bit on the loud side with this combination, but I could not be happier. Amazing product, super fast lead times, and quick shipping. What else do you want?

    First off I wanna thank Nameless again for making a super high quality AMERICAN MADE product! Install was as always a breeze. I had to grind about 1/4" off the corner of the tranny bracket cause it was touching the tunnel brace (didn't want and vibration) but that the nature of aftermarket parts. The sound paired with my Nameless catback with 4" mufflers is ridiculous. Also as a note to anyone using the Cobb Accessport your gonna want to run the Low Wastegate map. I used the stock stage 2+ SF map found on the AP and got a wastegate solenoid 'a' code. Cobb recommended the LWG map.

    I have the catless version installed on my 2012 STI and absolutely loved it. I made it 6k miles on a full build before it blew up, but this DP looks almost new in that 6k. My Perrin header on the other hand.....OUCH!

    These guys use quality stainless and have expert welders. Some say this product is over priced for a catless DP, but I disagree 100%. Excellent work guys! Keep it up!

  6. 2012 wrx down pipe and mid pipe

    fit like a glove. no problems at all i bought the down pipe and mid pipe since i already had the axle back. it all fit together with no problems at all. sounds extremely great. also i put this down pipe on without taking off the inter cooler i do not know why everyone wants to go through the hassle of taking that off just use a shorter rachet for the few bolts , the only thing i wished was on this setup was having a flange where the mid and down pipe connect so its easier to get the doughnut gasket supplied with this lined up and what i mean is on the down pipe on the flat spot going to the mid pipe where you bolt the 2 together .kind of like on the stock set up where the doughnut gasket stays put when you pull the 2 apart. but i got it together and all im saying is its extremely well built and you can see the time it must of took to make a exhaust system that fits together so perfect

  7. Great sound with backing performance

    The downpipe installation was not difficult. I blame Subaru for making access to bolts a little difficult. There was a small fitment issue when bolting to the turbo. I needed to squeeze it together with a large pair of pliers or vise grips in order to seat the ends together. I took some time to realize that nothing actually was hitting, it just required some pressure to butt the ends together. One note be careful with the O2 sensor during installation as alot of movement may be required to line up mounting brackets. After the install the 2016 STi just sounded amazing. Way better then any other brand i have heard. It is a deeper sound then others. Slightly raspy but not alot by any means sounds perfect. Sounds just alike a Subaru should if not better. I am very happy with the craftsmanship of this product and recommend to everyone. MADE IN USA lives again. There was an immediate horsepower gain. Love the power gains. Note that a tune, or Accessport is absolutely required. My Accessport V3 had not arrived yet by the time i put on my downpipe and I was throwing engine code, P0244 - Wastegate Solenoid, which means I'm Over Boosting. Car will go in limp mode. Clear the code and your good again. Best to drive in "Intelligent Mode" until you can re-tune the car. I highly reccommend this to all STi owners as this is by far the best downpipe I have seen.     I've got the DP to complete my Nameless Turbo Back exhaust for my 15 STi. I'm running 4" mufflers and 4" double wall staggered tips.
    The DP I ordered was a catted one as I didn't want it to be too loud and the sound I've got is simply amazing!!!!! Is like very emotional below 3500 RPM's and above that it's just maniac!! The car sounds like nothing I've heard out there, clean, crisp, no drone at all, pure rumble!!!
    If you're looking for something to drive everyday at high RPM's and you are concerned about the loudness, I suggest you to get 5" mufflers, otherwise 4" are amazing and I believe muffler delete would be super loud.
    For WRX, 4" mufflers is great! I had my catback installed on a 15 WRX prior to this one and it wasn't as loud as on the STi.
