Designed for the VA Chassis 2015-2018 STi and 2015-2020 WRX Sedans, the Nameless Performance AxleBack Exhaust is a direct factory fit to the OEM midpipe at the Y. Removing the two factory 13.5lb restrictive baffled mufflers in lieu of a pair of mandrel bent, TIG welded, T304 stainless steel pipes and configurable tailpipe tip style, this system is easily configurable to your desired look and sound level.
Factory fit laser cut flanges and 2″ dual piping has equivalent flow characteristics of a 3" single straight pipe, providing excellent breathing characteristics for high end horsepower and generating an increase in low end torque (roughly 10hp/11ft lb at the wheels for this and the other muffled axleback options we offer).
Fits 2015-2018 STi and 2015-2020 WRX Sedans with OEM or OEM fitment (Nameless Performance) midpipe, not compatible with the STI (SPT) dealer installed midpipe. This will NOT fit the 2019 STI or the 2018 STi R/A.
Each axleback comes with a full hardware kit for installation.

Our urethane bushings hold your exhaust in place better that the factory rubber bushings and are highly recommended if you race your car or enjoy spirited driving. During hard cornering the exhaust "wags" left to right which sometimes causes the tips to touch the bumper. When this happens there is a chance your bumper can be damaged. The best way to avoid this is to use our urethane exhaust bushings to hold the exhaust in place.

Lack of drone? Well, I already had a lot of sound deadening...but check.
I purchased the 5" muffler, 4" tips axle-back for my WRX and I absolutely love it. Installation took me 15 minutes with no experience installing exhausts. Strongly recommend for someone who wants to hear their exhaust without feeling unreasonable in quiet neighborhoods.

Best balance of loud and sound quality. I have had all three axle backs now and the deletes were fun but passengers get tired of them after so long. I also recommend the mid pipe for the extra hp and torque.

5 inch mufflers really have me enjoying the car again. Axleback are nice if your going for just loudness but having that deeper tone from the midpipe really makes all the difference. Just my 2 cents, good luck deciding.

I ordered the 5 inch mufflers with 4 inch tips and couldn't be happier. Nice and mellow under normal driving conditions and it really opens up when you get on it! Plus they look great. 5/5, would buy again.

I spent a lot of time researching which axle back to get. I ended up going with the 4” muffler and 3.5” tips. Was worried it could be too loud but it’s perfect!! Rumbles like a true subie! Very happy with the purchase. Probably could have even gotten away with the delete. But my car is fully stock, so if you have any other mods, that might be a different scenario. And the tips are a perfect size IMO, 3” would be way too small looking and 4” is obnoxiously large

Awesome product! I've had it on the car for over 5,000 miles now so I figured I'd give my 2 cents. I'll buller point so it's easier to follow and easier for me to type (lol)
Really awesome craftsmanship with the welds all the way around. Fit like a glove and had no issues with installation. Literally took maybe 25 mins to take off old mufflers and throw these new ones on. Didn't have to lift the car up on jacks or anything. (Buy the additional rubber hangers, you'll want them!)
4 inch tips are perfect size for the car. The 3's are about stock size and me personally, I think they're too small. 4's really fill the back and make the car look a lot more aggressive. I went with double wall as well. Mufflers don't take too much away as far as sound and actually look good when sitting on the back of the car. Fills in more of the empty space you would have if you don't go with the mufflers.
If you're shopping for a muffler delete, you're probably thinking one thing; be loud. I wanted to achieve a new tone to the exhaust but yet didn't want anything overbearing. Or just plain old Ricey. So that's why I got the mufflers on there. Best decision ever. I hate hearing other WRX's with just the cheapest option muffler delete and it sounds/looks like trash. Muffler definitely adds plenty more base and adds pitch to the car when giving it the gas. If you're thinking about adding it on, do it. It sounds way nicer.
Overall, just a great product. The crackles/pops/small backfires never get old and its a great first addition to your exhaust setup. Would buy from Nameless again!

I have the 4” muffler with the 3.5” tips. They sound great, and for those who are wondering, the 3.5” tips look pretty close to stock if you’re tying to gauge the size. The 4” muffler is pretty loud when you’re really on the gas and pretty tame when you’re trying to sneak into the neighborhood. The cold start will be loud no matter what exhaust set up you go for, even on a stock WRX. I thought I should’ve gone with the muffler deletes for about a week after installing, but after living with the car for awhile the 4” muffler setup feels perfect. (It’s why you can never find them used)

Just installed the 4” mufflers with double wall beveled tips on my 2018 STi yesterday. Absolutely love it. Made a great video of it too.
