The Autostop Eliminator does not make any changes to the vehicle programming.

This 100% plug-and-play intelligent device restores your preference for auto start-stop automatically which eliminates the need to manually disable auto start/stop via the touchscreen with each ignition cycle. Start-stop functionality is still available, simple enable it and the Autostop Eliminator will maintain your previous setting.

Please read carefully before selecting the type:

AE022 - Requires the Reverse Automatic Braking (RAB) option. This is not the same as rear parking sensors. Please do not order this type unless you are 100% certain you have the RAB option. If your vehicle has RAB, there will be a box mounted under the left seat just like the one in the install video. (The left seat is the driver's seat in North America)

AE038 - Fits all North American Subaru Forester trims and options. Installs overhead behind the stereo camera similar to how the AE026 installed into previous model years.

Pay careful attention to exactly where the device is installed. Customers frequently try to install into the overhead console connectors instead of the stereo camera connector. As you might imagine, this doesn't work.
