Kartboy 5 Speed Short Shifter Complete Kit w/ Mount & Pivot Bushings

We can't say enough about this combo! Short shifter and bushing kit from All Wheel Engineering / Kartboy.  The best selling Subaru short shifter in the world!

featuring CNC machined and tig welded 4130 chromoly construction that has been nickel plated for corrosion resistance.  This kit also includes the full front shift linkage bushings in urethane as well as the rear mount bushing in urethane with steel inserts and updated fasteners.

The overall throw reduction in the shift provides a crisp defined gear change without being overly notchy or stiff.  While other brands have adjustable throw and height, we have always found that most customers end up adjusting them just like these Kartboy units come out of the box for best performance and feel.  And while a height adjustable billet short shifter looks fancy, it's invisible under the shift boot.  Spend your money wisely.  

Shift throw reduction:  7/8-1" depending on model of vehicle. 

Overall shifter height reduction:  30% lower than factory shift knob height.
