The Subaru Outback is built for the path less traveled, but even with factory upgrades, the lower front bumper remains a vulnerable "catch point" for rocks, brush, and deep snow. The Primitive Racing Front Lip Add-On is designed to bridge the gap between your bumper and your armor.

This extension curves upward to wrap around the lower edge of the front fascia, giving your Outback a more aggressive, finished look while providing a smooth "sled" surface to deflect obstacles before they can snag your bumper.

Why Your Outback Needs a Front Lip

While a front skid plate protects your oil pan and differential, the "Lip" protects your vehicle's face. During steep approach maneuvers, the lower plastic trim of the Wilderness is often the first thing to make contact. By installing the Mid-Armor Lip, you turn that vulnerable plastic edge into a reinforced aluminum slide.

Note: This product is designed as an expansion for your existing armor and is exclusively compatible with the Primitive Front Skid Plate.

Installation & Pairing:

To use this Front Lip Add-On, you must have a 2020-2025 Primitive Outback (Non-Wilderness Edition) Front Engine Skid Plate installed. Together, they create a continuous shield from the bottom of the bumper back to the subframe. For the ultimate "Adventure Ready" build, we also recommend adding the Mid-Armor Transmission Plate and Rear Differential Cover.
