WE HAVE STOCK NOW - MAY BE THE LAST UNITS AVAILABLE FOR A WHILE.
The Nameless Performance 4-2-1 Stepped Long-Tube Header improves exhaust dynamics allowing for massive gains in top end power and midrange torque for your BRZ / FR-S or GT-86. The system is 100% bolt-up to the factory exhaust or any upgraded exhaust system that is compatible with the factory header.
Development of a proper exhaust manifold for a naturally aspirated vehicle is not only about developing something that flows well. If that were the case, all headers would have primary tubing diameters far larger than the size of the exhaust port. The purpose of a performance exhaust manifold is to lay the system out in a manner that has the appropriate lengths and diameters to allow the system to build velocity and optimize sound resonance to assist in the evacuation of the exhaust gasses from the engine as well as allow additional tuning that will achieve gains otherwise unavailable with the alternatives on the market.
Unique Design Features:
The biggest variation between our 4-2-1 header and the competition is the use of as much of the space in the engine bay possible in order to achieve the proper primary and secondary tube lengths. Additionally, we are the only company who has publicly iterated through the development process over the course of a year including 7 different designs, tuning for each and sharing the results. This gives you the peace of mind that the design you have chosen has gone through a full quality review and full gamut of research and development. This R&D has resulted in fine tuning of both the appropriate diameters for the primary and secondary tubing, as well as the appropriate choke diameter for the tertiary collector and its optimal internal profile.
In addition to the unique design features noted above, the header is entirely mandrel bent (initial photos show fabricated version rather than the unique mandrel bent final version which has far less weld count) out of T304 Stainless Steel. The merge collectors are batch sorted, matched and hand fitted/welded for optimal gas merge and anti-reversion dynamics. The entire system is hand tig welded by expert craftsmen and is accomplished on a proprietary fixture which features a plumbed water jacket and argon pass-through for full gas shielding inside the entirety of the manifold. The water jacket system bolts to the flanges and rapidly dissipates heat during the welding process, ensuring a perfectly flat surface upon completion, while the gas shielding produces a perfect full-color weld inside and outside the tubing. Flanges are 1/2" Billet T304 Stainless, CNC Machined for flatness and counter-bored for perfect transition from the exhaust port to the primary tubing.
Pretty simple on this product, you can choose the gasket diameter you require - if you're running a 2.5" or stock exhaust, choose 2.5". If you're running a 3" overpipe/downpipe, choose 3". As a note, our 3" Overpipe/Downpipe combo comes with the 3" gasket required if you have previously bought the header. Here's a link to that overpipe/downpipe if you haven't seen it yet: /2013-subaru-brz-scion-fr-s-3-downpipe-replaces-overpipe/

Unleashes the boxer rumble! good power. I am satisfied. Just curious on what the black nameless looking plug was for.

This unleashes that boxer rumble like none other. I can't even begin to describe how pleased I am with it. You can immediately notice the difference not just in sound but in performance. Installation was fairly easy. Couldn't be happier

Best mod so far, combined with the Nameless frontpipe/overpipe , It sounds awesome! The car is also more responsive and alive. You feel a difference right after installing it. With the OFT stage 2 catless tune it run's very well for a off the shelf tune.
And the best part, Everything fit's like if it was OEM it took me 45 minutes to install on jack stands and another hour for the front pipe.
Well worth the lead time the quality of the nameless parts is amazing!

I had my header installed by Nameless in their shop where I got the chance to weigh the stock piece with the heat shields and compare. The Nameless header is six pounds less.
The engineering is sound and creative in the use of the available space. The craftmanship is flawless. The optional ceramic coating is beautiful and I would recommend it.
It's loud and raspy when driven hard. I have a full 2 1/2" Nameless exhaust with the five inch mufflers. At a sixty MPH cruise it's fairly quiet. At seventy it drones. On full boil, the the trumpets are announcing the second coming of Christ. (You're going to exhaust noise hell, boy!) At commuter speeds it sounds good, though.
I should mention the tune. I'm running the off the shelf stage two tune from Vishnu. The midrange torque increase is noticable and the car pulls much harder to redline. It should be even better when I get the tune optimised. There is still a little dip in the torque, but it's lower in the rev range and much smaller.
None of the negatives I mentioned matter much to me. I don't buy performance products for their sound and even the stock torque dip isn't anywhere where it'd be a problem.
I'm very happy with this purchase.

The quality of this header is awesome. Installed with new Grimmspeed Metal Gaskets and 3" Nameless Headerback exhaust. No issues so far. A tune is a must with this header and makes the car feel much better.

Just installed 4/29/14
Comments by install team:
- fitment with existing exhaust system (Miltek) not perfect
- "probably be blowing gasket"
- concern with proximity of header to drive belts and possible heat failure of belts
- headers installed in conjunction with air intake and tune
- results impressive
- still evaluating

Very happy with the build quality. Followed the development of this header for almost 2 years and it did not disappoint!
Install was pretty easy, took no more than an hour to fit.
Followed up the install with the Stage 2 cat-less tune on the Open flash tablet and the car really opened up.
I know it has a lot more potential with the proper cam timings but even as is, there is a very noticeable power and response gain.
I'm looking forward to an E85 tune and those cam timing settings!
Current engine mods I'm running is, Modified snorkel, OFT and Nameless header - Still with stock header back exhaust.
