This ONLY fits models with the dual turn-downs in the back.
Designed for the 2005-2009 Outback XT, the Nameless Performance AxleBack Exhaust is a direct factory fit to the OEM midpipe at the Y. Removing the two factory 13.5lb mufflers in lieu of a pair of mandrel bent, TIG welded, T304 stainless steel pipes and configurable tailpipe tip style and positioning (fwd to aft for distance to the rear valence).
Factory fit laser cut flanges and 2″ dual piping has equivalent cross sectional area of a 2.85″ straight pipe, providing excellent breathing characteristics for high end horsepower as well as retaining low end torque.
Fits 2005-2009 Outback XT, and includes a new hardware kit for installation.

Our urethane bushings hold your exhaust in place better that the factory rubber bushings and are highly recommended if you race your car or enjoy spirited driving. During hard cornering the exhaust "wags" left to right which sometimes causes the tips to touch the bumper. When this happens there is a chance your bumper can be damaged. The best way to avoid this is to use our urethane exhaust bushings to hold the exhaust in place.

I ordered a set of tailpipes with the largest mufflers available. They arrived soon and safe, and i am impressed by the high quality workmanship. Installation was a breeze and the product was a precise fit. These are a bit louder that I would prefer, but I've learned to go lighter on the gas. As a result my gas mileage jumped to about 27 - not bad for a 2007 Outback.

These pipes are worth the wait, if they are not in stock. Hand made from stainless steel. Quality workmanship. The pipes mounted up perfectly with absolutely no effort. They look good and sound even better than BORLA.

What a great product. Since no one has a full catback system for the Outback XT, I went with this product with the muffler delete, and I am very pleased with it. Perfect sound, just what I was wanting. If you think the muffler delete will be ear bleeding, it is not. Is it the perfect amount of sound to unleash the Subaru rumble. Muffler delete is a must!

Just bought the muffler delete for my 07 outback and it sounds so f***ing great. Getting the old bolts off was the worst part but once the new mufflers were on it was heaven to my ears.

This was my first aftermarket mod purchase for any vehicle. I found a video of this exhaust (5") on the same model car I own ('05 3.0R) and fell in love with the sound. The installation was a breeze after I managed to get my old mufflers off and adjusting the tips helped prevent heat damage to the underside of my bumper.
Once I got them installed I didn't wait to go for a spirited drive. This exhaust sounds INCREDIBLE under WOT and doesn't draw much attention under normal acceleration. Using stock hangers there isn't much drone at all. I will definitely purchase from Nameless in the future.

The quality of steel is great and the sound is awesome. The stock bolts impacted right off. The bad: The right side hangs lower than the drivers side. The drivers side is too high and part of the bumper melted off
Nameless: Paul, it sounds like you need to adjust adjust the tips. Here's some pointers (or give us a call): Adjustment of the tip height is accomplished by holding the tip in place at one end while tightening the bolts at the other end. NOTE: In order to move the tips downward relative to the bumper, you'll want to move the flange upward prior to tightening. To move the tips upward relative to the bumper, you'll want to move the axleback flange downward. It's an inverse relationship between the tip position and the flange position. Sometimes it helps to have one person hold the tips in place while you tighten the flanges up.

NP provided timely updates on order status, build, and shipping, product shipped extremely fast (using regular shipping), all parts were present and no damage due to good packing/protection, easy install (once I was able to get the damn OEM bolts off), tips are even (though one poly hanger is a bit 'loose' so need to see if i should downsize), and tone is perfect: throaty w/o drawing attention, opens up at WOT. Highly recommended.
