This exhaust sounds absolutely incredible. I think the muffler-less version would probably be too loud for a daily driven car (where you want to hear your music on occasion), but this setup is exactly what I was looking for. Ran into some issue due to the older design of the COBB downpipe I had, but customer service was able to help me out quickly. The part I was most nervous about were the harder bushings, but they installed so much easier than the old ones were to get off, I didn't need to worry at all. You will almost definitely need a friend to get the exhaust installed, doing it on your own would be a huge hassle, but the end product is well worth it.

I must say I was very impressed with the quality as soon as I opened the box. Very few marks from where the pipes were clamped during fabrication. Welds have a nice pop of color and are even and very precise. Everything fits together nice and tight. It would be very tough to install by yourself but I suppose could be managed. I called a friend and the had the installation finished in a few hours.

My 2011 Sti already had the nameless quad tip w/muffler delete and I was happy with it(no highway drone, ect.) I need to get a new down pipe as mine had "gone missing", and the choice was clear. After checking the website I saw there was a coupon if I bought the mid pipe with the down pipe! Its like they knew I was coming lol. I am so glad I finished off the full exhaust system. It sounds epic! Like a lightly modified car when I am puttering around, like a friggin' full blow rally car when I'm having fun. It doesn't have any of the harsh tones that often come with low quality exhaust. NO HIGHWAY DRONE! Sorry to yell but that is a very big thing! I love to go on long Sunday drives and was a little worried about it being to loud on the highway now. Nope! At 65mph it sounds like any other Sti(from inside atleast lol). I work and live in downtown Seattle, driving under the West Seattle bridge used to be a pretty boring drive. Now I roll down the windows, turn the radio off and love it! I truly always wanted a car that sounds like this and now its a reality... friggin' epic!
