Axleback Exhaust - 2012-2016 Impreza Wagon - Quad Exit 5" Muffler - 3" Double Wall Tips

Upgrade the exhuast on your 2012-16 Impreza hatchback with our quad tip axleback system and get configurable level of sound along with a factory fit solution that looks exactly like the car should have looked from the factory.  No bumper cutting or trying to make a system for another application work, this system is a simple and easy bolt on that sounds great in either version.  Install in your driveway in 30 minutes.  

Improving on the design of our '13-17 Crosstrek Quad exit, we switched to non-staggered tips to keep the tips as close as possible to the bumper while safely avoiding clearance issues.  While this system will not work with class three trailer hitch installations, it does NOT require any modifications to the rear bumper.

Muffler Configuration:

• 5" Muffler:  

  • The muffled option reduces overall sound volume while still providing a significant sound improvement over the factory muffler. Quiet during normal around the town driving it still retains a wonderfully aggressive sound at wide open throttle when you are trying to be heard or doing some spirited driving. This is much quieter than the muffler deletes and your neighbors will still love you as long as you return that lawn dart set you borrowed last year.

Exhaust Hanger Bushings

Upgrading to our long lasting Nameless Performance urethane exhaust bushings from the factory rubber bushings is highly recommended. The softer rubber factory bushings have too much flex and if you race your car or enjoy spirited driving the exhaust "wags" left to right which sometimes causes noise or the tips to touch the rear bumper on Crosstrek and Impreza applications. When this happens there is a chance your bumper can be damage or if you have a hitch or any other accessories can cause annoying sounds. The best way to avoid this is to use our urethane exhaust bushings to hold the exhaust in place. These upgraded bushings are not necessary to install our exhaust systems but for the small cost of upgraded units, it is an excellent idea! prevents common exhaust sag issues.

• 3 Bushings: Replace 3 rubber bushings on the axleback portion of the exhaust.
  
  
• 4 Bushings: Replace 3 rubber bushings on the axleback portion of the exhaust as well as the single bushing on the midpipe.
