 Product Description

Our popular axleback design, which was previously only available for the XT, is finally available for the 2014+ Forester 2.5i.

Designed specifically for the 2014+ Subaru Forester, the Nameless Performance Axleback Exhaust is a direct factory fit to the OEM midpipe. Removing the factory 13.5lb mufflers in lieu of a mandrel bent, TIG welded, T304 stainless steel pipe.

Factory fit laser cut flanges and 2″ piping has equivalent cross sectional area of a 2.85″ straight pipe, providing excellent breathing characteristics for high end horsepower as well as retaining low end torque.

Fits 2014+ Forester 2.5i ONLY, and includes a new hardware kit for installation.

Muffler Options:

  • Muffler Delete: The loudest option. Removes the mufflers entirely. Has a full range of tone featuring highs, mids, lows. On its own, the muffler delete with a stock midpipe and downpipe is similar to most catback exhausts in terms of sound level.
  • 5" Mufflers: Our most quiet option. Perfect for those looking for a subtle upgrade. The mufflers cancel more of the highs and midrange tones leaving a deep tone that is quieter than most catback exhausts on the market at cruise and idle, but still has a nice bark at wide open throttle.

  • NEW: 4" In-House TIG Welded Single Wall Tip

Recommended Add-Ons:

Urethane Exhaust Hanger Bushings

Our urethane bushings hold your exhaust in place better that the factory rubber bushings and are highly recommended if you race your car or enjoy spirited driving. During hard cornering the exhaust "wags" left to right which sometimes causes the tips to touch the bumper. When this happens there is a chance your bumper can be damaged. The best way to avoid this is to use our urethane exhaust bushings to hold the exhaust in place.

  • 2 Bushings: Replace the two bushings at the rear of the car closest to the bumper. Recommend for those who either drive hard on the street or race occasionally at the track.

  • 4 Bushings: Replace all 4 rubber bushings on the axleback portion of the exhaust. Recommended for people who race their cars often.

  • 5 Bushings: Replace all 5 of the factory rubber bushings from the midpipe back. Recommended for those who are hard core autocrossers or circuit racers.

  1. Awesome simple improvement for my car

    Posted by on

Purchased the Axleback 5 inch muffler for my manual shift 2017 Subaru Forester. I installed the beautifully welded exhaust and also put a more open K&N filter on. Sounds great, but the best part is that the car feels more open - it wants to rev and is more enjoyable to drive. I've kept the windows and sunroof open when I can to enjoy driving the car more. Great update. Had an install issue and tech support called me while I was under the car - thanks for being responsive.

  2. A must have for 6 speed Foresters

Really can't say enough positive things about this exhaust! Absolutely perfect for a daily driver. Sounds fantastic, not loud at all, zero drone on the highway. Definitely the best balanced exhaust system I've ever owned. Looked great, welds were top quality, and it fit perfectly. The incredibly low price is the icing on the cake. There's no good reason not to buy this exhaust! You won't be disappointed!

  3. Plenty of sound no longer sounds like a prius

Just installed on my 2014 with CVT and it sounds great..Makes the car stand out

    Great fitment and great price

  4. Great Value and Sound

    Posted by on

Put this on my '15 Forester 2.5i, took 10 mins to install in my apartment parking lot. Sound is great, nice and loud at cold start, once it warms up you won't even know it's there.

Depending on how you drive, it might be loud inside, for me, it's fairly loud from a stop (Stoplight, traffic, etc) but once I hit my speed, the CVT takes over and goes into the highest gear, making it as quiet as stock, I forget it's on until I go to pass someone.

  5. Beefy is word

Well built! Very pleased with it and easy installation.

  6. Looks good! Sounds good!

The axle back exhaust for the Forester looks as good as it sounds. The build quality is excellent and the finish of the system is some of the best I have ever seen. The sound is aggressive without being obnoxious or overly loud. It has that "Boxer burble" that you want from the Subaru.

  7. Extreme quality and aggressive sound!

I bought this and let me tell you, it's by far the best build quality I've ever seen by an exhaust company. The welds are stunning! When I started it up I had a nice, deep, shuttle burble which sounds very nice- when revving it up to 3,500 - 4,000 RPMS it has such a nice throaty bark to it. No rasp at all! If you are looking for an exhaust for your Forester without being ridiculously loud, this is the exhaust for you.

    Out of 5 Stars, I rate this a 6,763,456.

  8. Best exhaust around!

Bought this and got the newly constructed model. It sounds amazing and was so incredibly easy to install! The sound is great, nice and throaty!
