Our popular axleback design, which was previously only available for the XT, is finally available for the 2014+ Forester 2.5i.
Designed specifically for the 2014+ Subaru Forester, the Nameless Performance Axleback Exhaust is a direct factory fit to the OEM midpipe. Removing the factory 13.5lb mufflers in lieu of a mandrel bent, TIG welded, T304 stainless steel pipe.
Factory fit laser cut flanges and 2″ piping has equivalent cross sectional area of a 2.85″ straight pipe, providing excellent breathing characteristics for high end horsepower as well as retaining low end torque.
Fits 2014+ Forester 2.5i ONLY, and includes a new hardware kit for installation.
Our urethane bushings hold your exhaust in place better that the factory rubber bushings and are highly recommended if you race your car or enjoy spirited driving. During hard cornering the exhaust "wags" left to right which sometimes causes the tips to touch the bumper. When this happens there is a chance your bumper can be damaged. The best way to avoid this is to use our urethane exhaust bushings to hold the exhaust in place.

I purchased the 5-inch muffler for my 2017 Forester 2.5. I was glad that someone produced a muffler for my model because they're hard to find for the 2.5. First, the construction and appearance are fantastic. The exhaust tip really filled in the bumper cover. Second, the sound is so much better than stock. If you want to bring out the Boxer sound, this is the way to go.
I also purchased two of the exhaust hangers. The jury is still out on whether they made a difference, but since I was changing the muffler I figured why not.
I bought the laser milled plate for the front license plate are. While it is a well-made and good looking piece, I thought it would be large enough to cover the are on the front bumper cover.
My only knocks were the wait time and the exhaust gasket needed to be drilled a little to fit the flanges. Overall, it is great exhaust at a good price. If I purchase another Subaru, I would definitely consider another exhaust from Nameless Performance.

I've bought the 5" mufflers for my 2.5i premium with CVT. The quality of materials, welds, and fitment are top notch. The sound is amazing: I love the quiet idle and above 3k RPMs it is awesome. However, for models with the CVT this axleback drones between 1600 and 1900 RPMs with the 5" muffler.

Purchased the Axleback 5 inch muffler for my manual shift 2017 Subaru Forester. I installed the beautifully welded exhaust and also put a more open K&N filter on. Sounds great, but the best part is that the car feels more open - it wants to rev and is more enjoyable to drive. I've kept the windows and sunroof open when I can to enjoy driving the car more. Great update. Had an install issue and tech support called me while I was under the car - thanks for being responsive.

Really can't say enough positive things about this exhaust! Absolutely perfect for a daily driver. Sounds fantastic, not loud at all, zero drone on the highway. Definitely the best balanced exhaust system I've ever owned. Looked great, welds were top quality, and it fit perfectly. The incredibly low price is the icing on the cake. There's no good reason not to buy this exhaust! You won't be disappointed!

Put this on my '15 Forester 2.5i, took 10 mins to install in my apartment parking lot. Sound is great, nice and loud at cold start, once it warms up you won't even know it's there.
Depending on how you drive, it might be loud inside, for me, it's fairly loud from a stop (Stoplight, traffic, etc) but once I hit my speed, the CVT takes over and goes into the highest gear, making it as quiet as stock, I forget it's on until I go to pass someone.

The axle back exhaust for the Forester looks as good as it sounds. The build quality is excellent and the finish of the system is some of the best I have ever seen. The sound is aggressive without being obnoxious or overly loud. It has that "Boxer burble" that you want from the Subaru.
