We all have different styles and want different things from our cars, some people like loud, some like flashy, some like to go largely unnoticed. Shopping for an exhaust isn’t always easy because we all look for different things and you are usually stuck with one option per manufacturer. So, we here at Nameless thought, why can’t we just make a system for one of the most popular Subaru’s out there that has options of everyone?

So we did! The Nameless Performance axleback exhaust system for the VA chassis Subaru STI from 2015-2018 and the Subaru WRX from 2015-2021 is fully configurable - check out the vehicle page for more configurations.

Our axle back fits the OEM midpipe at the Y. Removing the two large factory 13.5 lb restrictive baffled mufflers in lieu of a pair of mandrel bent, TIG welded, T304 stainless steel pipes and configurable tailpipe tip style, this system is easily configurable to your desired look and sound level with muffled and un-muffled (muffler delete) versions and a wide selection of various tip configurations.

Factory fit laser cut flanges and 2″ dual piping has equivalent flow characteristics of a 3" single straight pipe, providing excellent breathing characteristics for high end horsepower and generating an increase in low end torque (roughly 10 hp/11 ft lb at the wheels for this and the other muffled axleback options we offer).

Fits 2015-2018 STi and 2015-2021 WRX Sedans with OEM or OEM fitment (Nameless Performance) midpipe, not compatible with the STI (SPT) dealer installed midpipe. This will NOT fit the 2019 STI or the 2018 STi R/A. 

Each axleback comes with a full hardware kit for installation.

Exhaust Hanger Bushings

Upgrading to our long lasting Nameless Performance urethane exhaust bushings from the factory rubber bushings is highly recommended. The softer rubber factory bushings are overly flexible and if you race your car or spend time at an incline off-road, the exhaust can "wag" left to right which sometimes causes noise or the tips to touch the rear bumper on Outback applications. When this happens there is a chance your bumper can be damaged or if you have a hitch or any other accessories can cause annoying sounds. The best way to avoid this is to use our urethane exhaust bushings to hold the exhaust in place. These upgraded bushings are not necessary to install our exhaust systems but for the small cost of upgraded units, it is an excellent idea!

• Add 2 Bushings to your cart: Replace the two bushings at the rear of the car closest to the bumper. Recommend for those who either drive hard on the street or race occasionally at the track.
• Add 4 Bushings to your cart: Replace all 4 rubber bushings on the axleback portion of the exhaust. Recommended for people drive off-road or who race their cars often.
• Add 5 Bushings to your cart: Replace all 5 of the factory rubber bushings from the midpipe back. Recommended for those who are hard core off-raoders, autocrossers or circuit racers.
