COBB CAN Flex Fuel Upgrade - 2018-2021 WRX

The COBB CAN Gateway Flex Fuel Kit offers true plug-and-play installation and allows for seamless integration of flex fuel for supported vehicles.

CAN Gateway
The included COBB CAN Gateway provides the means for aftermarket sensor data to be injected into your car's CAN system where it can be absorbed by the ECU and utilized in either a COBB Off The Shelf Map or custom calibration. The Gateway itself is constructed of billet aluminum encasing a precision manufactured PCB. A machined bracket allows for a straight-forward bolt-in installation on supported cars.

Vehicle Specific Harness
Each CAN Gateway Kit includes a vehicle specific wiring harness. This specific kit is compatible with 2018-2021 WRXs and is NOT compatible with 2015-2017 WRXs. Please see our other CAN Gateway Kits for one that is compatible with your car.

CAN Ethanol Sensor Kit
The CAN Ethanol Sensor Kit includes an ethanol sensor with mounting bracket, fuel lines with quick connect fittings, and a wiring harness that connects to the CAN Gateway.

Why Upgrade to Flex Fuel on a 2018-2021 Subaru WRX?

The COBB CAN Gateway Flex Fuel Kit for 2018-2021 Subaru WRXs measures the ethanol content level of the fuel being pumped into your engine and then sends that data to the ECU to be used in an Accessport delivered Flex Fuel calibration.

*Note* - This kit is NOT compatible with 2015-2017 WRXs as they use a different wiring harness.

Emissions

This part is legal under the provisions of EPA’s Anti-Tampering Policy. COBB Tuning has established a reasonable basis (testing results) via SEMA Garage Emissions Certification that verifies that this product allows the vehicle to operate within legal emissions standards and is therefore legal to be sold for on-street use in all states that accept the legal provisions of the Clean Air Act and EPA’s Anti-Tampering Policy.

NOT LEGAL FOR SALE OR USE IN CALIFORNIA ON ANY EMISSION CONTROLLED MOTOR VEHICLE.

Testing with the California Air Resources Board, in order to achieve 50-state compliance, is pending. Once testing is complete with California, and an EO number is issued, this product will be updated to 50-state legal status.
