Our Midpipe for the 2015+ WRX & 2015-2018 STi features a 3" primary circuit with a unique Y section that ensures optimal flow transition from the main 3" circuit into our 2" rear circuit axleback exhaust. The Y features a stepped design which puts larger diameter tubing at the transition of gas flow as the exhaust is split from the main circuit into each of the rear circuits of the system with a triple stepped graduation to the 2" rear circuit. This design builds higher torque than any other catback on the market while building the same horsepower numbers that are seen in most higher end catback exhaust designs. Additionally, the 2" secondary circuit design biases the exhaust sound frequency to ensure drone-free operation.
This midpipe is the forward component in our Catback Exhausts for the 2015+ WRX & 2015-2018 STi.
The midpipe is a 3 piece design featuring latch-over V-band clamps at the two connections in the middle of the system with factory fitting 3" flared flange at the forward (downpipe) end and factory fit flanges at the axleback section. These latch over style V-band clamps allow for easy installation and the three piece design and positioning of the V-band flanges in the system allows for maximum adjustment for ground and vehicle chassis clearance. The midpipe ships with a proprietary 3" donut gasket which allows you to connect the larger midpipe main circuit to your factory downpipe or to a Nameless Performance 3" downpipe with no restriction to flow between the 3" downpipe circuit and the 3" midpipe primary circuit.
The system is built entirely of T304 stainless steel to ensure top quality corrosion resistance and long life of the product.
When coupled with any of our axleback exhaust designs, the system has shown gains of up to 34ft lb of torque at the wheels and 22whp on the EJ series STi and test data should be released for the WRX shortly.
Our urethane bushings hold your exhaust in place better that the factory rubber bushings and are highly recommended if you race your car or enjoy spirited driving. During hard cornering the exhaust "wags" left to right which sometimes causes the tips to touch the bumper. When this happens there is a chance your bumper can be damaged. The best way to avoid this is to use our urethane exhaust bushings to hold the exhaust in place.

Installed this on my 2016 sti and it sounds amazing. This is my second exhaust from Nameless and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great deep sounding exhaust.

I bought the Nameless muffler delete and then waited 4 weeks for my mid pipe to come in and it definitely gives it an amazing raw sound, makes the pops louder performance is a little better.. HIGHLY recommended it! Will be adding a catted downpipe in the future.. 10/10

I had purchased the 4” axleback with 3.5” double walled tail pipes a year ago and just added the midpipe. The sound is awesome snd did gain a little hp and torque. Have not done any tuning and I am very happy with the results. As always the folks at Nameless are awesome and will continue to purchase their pruducts due to workmanship and how easy it is to work with them.

I had a 2017 STi with the Nameless axle back - 4 inch mufflers, 4 in double walled tips. Sadly, after I bought my 2019 STi, I found out that Subaru made a very small change on the stock y-pipe flanges, and the axle back would no longer work. The fix was either wait for the 2019 axle back, or order the midpipe and make it a full CBE. I'm so glad I went with the midpipe option. After a while I felt like my axle back was a little quieter and I planned on upgrading anyway, and it sounds awesome. Much throatier, little louder, and the sound of the downshifts is intoxicating.
I will say - my local shop had a tough time getting this to fit. I think the problem was they installed each piece and tightened it down too much. Once they loosened everything and adjusted a little here and there, it fit fine.
One other thing was the new burn smell. It lasted for a week or two. It was so strong I took it back to my shop to check or leaks or anything else, and it was totally fine. The smell has since gone and is no big deal. Just part of the break-in period and an FYI.
Overall, I am very pleased with this product. I had to wait a couple weeks for production, but it was well worth it. I would absolutely order this again.

I used this with a TurboXS J Pipe and the OEM mufflers on a 2018 WRX.
The quality of material and workmanship was over the top excellent.
Service was outstanding and shipping fast.
Fitment was perfect, with substantial latitude for adjustment.
Sounds great, performs well, and was an excellent choice in building a turbo back system that matched my mod path for the car.
I am looking forward to seeing what the torque numbers look like when I get it on the dyno

Absolutely beautiful product with an amazing exhaust note to match. Was a little wary of the double conical gaskets to the downpipe, but in the end everything fit snug with zero exhaust leaks. Install was easy and do-able by anyone with basic tools and some jack stands. Highly recommend nameless for any product.

So, this is my third product I have purchased from nameless and let me tell you they NEVER disappoint! i had purchased first, the axle back muffler deletes. Wasn't giving me that deep rumble tone (IMO) that I was looking for. And at that point, I had already done a lot of extensive research on exhausts. I was a bit hesitant, like everyone else, to purchase the Nameless midpipe. Saved up a bit and bought the midpipe like 2 weeks ago. This is a must have for anyone that has the axle back muffler deletes! The entire catback system (together now) was the sound I was searching for! It has the perfect deep tone coming from the midpipe and the perfect mid-high tone coming from the muffler deletes. And I'm super picky when it comes to sound and craftsmanship. This here is the perfect blend of sound. Nasty (meaning good) on the cold start! Excellent tone between 2k and 3500. 3K i believe is the sweet spot. Not too annoying but gets heads turning. Once you punch it past that, you get the sound Subaru was intended to make. No droning in cabin. You rear passengers might have something different to say about that, though. Lol. Followed by some backfiring when either up or down shifting. I realized when I use my Subaru in (I) Intelligent Mode, the exhaust system is a tiny bit quieter. When used in (S) Sport mode or (S#) Sport Sharp, the exhaust sounds a bit louder. I recommend going to an exhaust shop to have it installed. Installation can be a bit tricky. I mean, if you have a few bucks laying around, just have them do it. The verdict? Very very pleased with this. This is the system to get. Couldn't be more happier with this set up. Customer service was great. Which is why I continue to purchase from Nameless Performance.

Easy install! Went well with the axle back. But don't expect a different sound, it basically just pops louder and more when downshifting.
