Description
Features:
Our 2009-2013 Forester X Midpipe features a 2.25" primary circuit for improved flow with minimized cabin drone. Featuring optimal ground clearance and stainless construction, this midpipe is built to last and sounds great with an upgraded axleback exhaust or the factory system. Fully factory compatible forward and back you can complete a full catback with this midpipe or simply upgrade your factory midpipe with your factory axleback exhaust.
This midpipe is the forward component in our Catback Exhausts for the 2009-2013 Forester X Catback.
The midpipe is a 3 piece design featuring latch-over V-band clamps at the two connections in the middle of the system with factory fitting 2.25" flared flange at the forward (manifold) end and factory fit flanges at the axleback section. These latch over style V-band clamps allow for easy installation and the three-piece design and positioning of the V-band flanges in the system allows for maximum adjustment for ground and vehicle chassis clearance. The midpipe connects to your factory donut gasket for optimal compliance and adjustment of fit.
Materials:
The system is built entirely of T304 stainless steel to ensure top quality corrosion resistance and long life of the product.

Recommended Add-Ons:

Upgrading to our long lasting Nameless Performance urethane exhaust bushings from the factory rubber bushings is highly recommended. The softer rubber factory bushings are overly flexible and if you race your car or spend time at an incline off-road, the exhaust can "wag" left to right which sometimes causes noise or the tips to touch the rear bumper. When this happens there is a chance your bumper can be damaged or if you have a hitch or any other accessories can cause annoying sounds. The best way to avoid this is to use our urethane exhaust bushings to hold the exhaust in place. These upgraded bushings are not necessary to install our exhaust systems but for the small cost of upgraded units, it is an excellent idea!
- Add 2 Bushings to your cart: Replace the two bushings at the rear of the car closest to the bumper. Recommend for those who either drive hard on the street or race occasionally at the track.
- Add 4 Bushings to your cart: Replace all 4 rubber bushings on the axleback portion of the exhaust. Recommended for people drive off-road or who race their cars often.
- Add 5 Bushings to your cart: Replace all 5 of the factory rubber bushings from the midpipe back. Recommended for those who are hard core off-roaders, autocrossers or circuit racers.

This tool makes removing the hanger bushings a breeze. We highly recommend this tool, it turns the removal process from frustrating to satisfying.
