The Star Pattern Torque Process: Always torque flywheel bolts in a crisscross "star" pattern in progressive stages. For this specific M10 kit using ARP lube, torque them down in three even steps (e.g., 25 ft-lbs, 45 ft-lbs, and a final step to 58 ft-lbs). Use a quality 12-point socket so you don't round off the specialized heads!
