Yes yes we know we are incredibly late to the party on this one but here it is! Keeping with our roots we have brought a incredible high quality 304 stainless steel or 321 stainless steel Up pipe that is also priced extremely low! Get the most bang for your buck with this upgrade. 

Upgrading to a T304 Stainless Up Pipe from Nameless costs less than a factory replacement. $311 for factory catless, $948!!! for factory 02-03 catted.  The turbine wheel on the hot side of your turbo does not want a catalytic converter or a thermocouple for Christmas any more than you want your Christmas money from Granny to go toward a fresh turbocharger. Plus yours is likely cracked, rusting, and leaking. Any exhaust gas that is escaping from it is not going into your turbocharger.  A clogged factory catalytic converter can restrict the exhaust gas flow to the turbocharger on the 02-03 WRX.  No catalytic converter in your factory up pipe? Not exactly a deal breaker.  There is power to be had in upgrading from the factory up pipe. Testing shows around 8-12hp to the wheels on EJ257 powered vehicles.

T304 or T321 Stainless will withstand more thermal fluctuation than the factory 400 series stainless unit. This is a huge consideration in factor of safety when you are upgrading the other components in the exhaust system and tuning to accommodate those advantages. Leaving the weakest link OEM because there might not be as much power available in it is a recipe for disaster. Also lets be honest here the factory catalytic converter on you 02-03 WRX could probably pay for the entire upgrade at the going rate of palladium.

 

Comes with new turbo studs and nuts! If you want fresh gaskets those can be added at an additional price but typically the stock MLS gaskets can be reusable if they are still in good shape.
