Description
New Product!
Sometimes you want to drive around unnoticed, sometimes you want to want to have aggressive sound now with our new Dual Chamber No Drone Exhaust systems you can have both!
This system offers the same crisp exhaust notes that our 5" muffled systems on the outside of the vehicle, while reducing cabin noise in the low RPM ranges. Literally the best of both worlds - ultra mild at cruise, and an appropriate growl inside and outside when you feel like doing some serious "spirited driving".
Featuring both a 5" conventional "zero-restriction muffler" and a frequency tuned "helmholtz" resonator, these systems are a perfect fit on your Forester.
"New helmholtz exhaust designed by @namelessperformance received and installed. Impressive build, quality, and sound... and most importantly for my wife, absolutely no drone in the cabin. Nameless hit a home run with this one. Thank you!" was what our first customer had to say about this after driving the 5" muffler and wanting to have less cabin noise.
Features:
Built entirely in our shop in Woodland, Washington, the Nameless Performance Dual Chamber Exhaust is a direct factory fit to the OEM midpipe on the 2015-2017 Legacy 2.5i, and features superior quality TIG welded, American Sourced T304 stainless tubing throughout.
The factory fit flange features laser cut precision, and our in-house Ercolina CNC mandrel bender produces the 2″ stainless primary and secondary chamber tubing, providing excellent breathing characteristics for high end horsepower as well as retaining low end torque. All tubing as well as the muffler and resonator bodies feature a brushed finish unique to our production process.
The exhaust tip is polished T304 stainless, constructed of two pieces which are masterfully fit and hand TIG welded in-house. We have the utmost confidence in our welding department and the results speak for themselves.
This system also uses our newest twin bar design for each hanger location, and includes a pair of three hole urethane exhaust hanger bushings to isolate rotation and lateral movement of the system at both of the factory mounting points. The result is a rock solid attachment which prevents side to side motion. This assembly doubles down on our previous industry-leading gusseted hangers. Keep an eye on the competition, many of the other systems on the market have no hanger support and simply attach at a single point to the exhaust tube. We believe the devil is in the details and we pay attention to them.
And as always, our systems include gaskets and top notch metric hardware for quick and easy installation.
Muffler Options:
- Muffler Delete: The loudest option. Removes the mufflers entirely. Has a full range of tone featuring highs, mids, lows. On its own, the muffler delete with a stock midpipe and downpipe is similar to most catback exhausts in terms of sound level.
- 5" Mufflers: Perfect for those looking for a subtle upgrade. The mufflers cancel more of the highs and midrange tones leaving a deep tone that is quieter than most catback exhausts on the market at cruise and idle, but still has a nice bark at wide open throttle.
- Dual Chamber With 5" Muffler (this product): An exhaust that was quiet when you want quiet yet aggressive when you want aggressive. This system offers the same crisp exhaust notes that our 5" muffled systems on the outside of the vehicle, while reducing cabin noise in the low RPM ranges. literally the best of both worlds - ultra mild at cruise, and an appropriate growl inside and outside when you feel like doing some "spirited driving".
Tip:
- 4" In-House TIG Welded Single Wall Tips

Recommended Add-Ons:

Upgrading to our long lasting Nameless Performance urethane exhaust bushings from the factory rubber bushings is highly recommended. The softer rubber factory bushings are overly flexible and if you race your car or spend time at an incline off-road, the exhaust can "wag" left to right which sometimes causes noise or the tips to touch the rear bumper. When this happens there is a chance your bumper can be damaged or if you have a hitch or any other accessories can cause annoying sounds. The best way to avoid this is to use our urethane exhaust bushings to hold the exhaust in place. These upgraded bushings are not necessary to install our exhaust systems but for the small cost of upgraded units, it is an excellent idea!
- Add 1 Bushing to your cart: Upgrade the one bushing on the midpipe portion of the exhaust.
- Add 2 Bushings to your cart: Upgrade 2 rubber bushings on the axleback portion of the exhaust.
- Add 3 Bushings to your cart: Upgrade all 3 of the factory rubber bushings from the midpipe back.

This tool makes removing the hanger bushings a breeze. We highly recommend this tool, it turns the removal process from frustrating to satisfying.
