The factory plastic air scoop and front airbox section on the 2022+ Subaru WRX are restrictive, visually uninspiring, and prone to fading or cracking over repeated heat cycles. The COBB Redline Gloss Carbon Fiber Power Scoop (Part # 746150) completely replaces both the stock air scoop and the front half of the factory airbox, merging them into one seamless, continuous carbon fiber duct. The result is improved airflow volume, reduced turbulence, and an incredible visual upgrade under the hood.

Hand-Laid 2x2 Twill Carbon with Billet Aluminum Clamps
Engineered entirely from solid 2x2 twill weave carbon fiber, the Power Scoop features a brilliant high-gloss clear coat that resists thermal discoloration and UV damage. Bespoke billet-machined, black-anodized clamps securely fasten the carbon scoop to the rear half of your stock airbox, sandwiching either your factory panel filter or a COBB High-Flow Panel Filter in between. Complete with a riveted COBB Redline badge and all-black hardware, this intake upgrade is 100% 50-state emissions legal and fully safe to run on both stock ECU tunes or COBB Accessport Off-The-Shelf (OTS) maps.

The Nameless "Installation" Pro-Tips:

1. Ensure Proper Air Filter Seating: When mating the new carbon Power Scoop to the rear factory airbox section, double-check that your panel filter perimeter rubber gasket is seated evenly around the entire lip. Latch the billet-machined clamps down evenly to guarantee an airtight seal so no unmetered air bypasses the filter!

2. Set the Chassis Isolation Mounts: COBB provides rubber isolator hardware to secure the front of the Power Scoop to the core support chassis rails. Don't over-tighten these rubber isolator studs; snug them down until the rubber dampener compresses slightly. This gives the carbon scoop room to flex naturally as the engine moves under load, preventing stress cracking!
