Description

Satin Motorsport Styling Meets High-Flow Air Induction
The OEM plastic intake scoop and front airbox lid on the 2022+ Subaru WRX are restrictive, visually plain, and prone to fading over repeated engine heat cycles. The COBB Redline Matte Carbon Fiber Power Scoop (Part # 746150-RMC) replaces both factory components, merging the scoop and front airbox section into one continuous, high-volume carbon fiber channel with a sleek, satin finish.

Hand-Laid 2x2 Twill Carbon with Billet Aluminum Clamps
Engineered from solid 2x2 twill weave carbon fiber, the Matte Redline Power Scoop is treated with a durable clear coat that guards against UV degradation and thermal stress while giving the carbon a rich, low-glare matte appearance. CNC-machined, black-anodized billet aluminum clamps securely lock the carbon scoop to the stock rear airbox section, sandwiching your factory panel filter or a COBB High-Flow Panel Filter inside. Featuring a riveted COBB Redline badge and black hardware, this intake scoop is 100% 50-state emissions legal and fully safe to run on stock ECU tunes or COBB Accessport Off-The-Shelf (OTS) maps.

  • Continuous One-Piece Design: Replaces both the factory intake scoop and front airbox section with a smooth, high-volume carbon channel.
  • Satin Matte Finish: Durable matte clear coat protects the carbon weave against engine heat soak while providing a refined, anti-glare finish.
  • Billet Machined Clamps: Black-anodized aluminum clamps create an airtight seal against the factory rear airbox housing.
  • Retains Factory Filter Location: Fully compatible with OEM replacement panel filters and the COBB High-Flow Drop-In Air Filter.
  • 50-State Emissions Legal: CARB EO compliant and safe for use with stock engine tuning or COBB OTS maps without triggering check engine lights.

The Nameless "Installation" Pro-Tips:

1. Verify Panel Filter Seating: When attaching the matte carbon Power Scoop to the rear factory airbox section, verify that the rubber perimeter gasket of your panel filter is seated evenly along the entire lip. Latch the billet clamps down evenly on both sides to guarantee an airtight seal so unmetered air cannot bypass the filter!

2. Adjust Rubber Isolation Studs: COBB supplies rubber isolator mounts to anchor the front of the scoop to the core support rails. Do not over-tighten these rubber studs—snug them down until the rubber isolator compresses slightly. This flexibility allows the engine and airbox to move under load without placing undue stress on the carbon fiber body!
