The Nameless "Installation" Pro-Tips:

Assemble the Color Plates First: Before setting the shrouds into your engine bay, attach the lower color plate to the black outer shroud using the three short 2.5mm Allen bolts provided. Eyeball the hex cutouts to make sure the color plate is centered perfectly before torquing them down to roughly 5Nm.

Working Around Hood Struts: If your WRX/STI is equipped with aftermarket gas hood struts, you'll need to briefly unclip the strut socket from the lower ball stud using a small flathead screwdriver. Use a 12mm wrench to remove the ball stud, slip the provided IAG strut spacer underneath, reinstall the ball stud, and reattach the strut. The added clearance ensures the shroud sits perfectly flat against the fender rail without binding!
