Description
Designed for the 2015-2017 Legacy 3.6R, the Nameless Performance Axleback Exhaust with Muffler Delete is a direct factory fit to the OEM midpipe at the Y. Removing the two factory 13.5lb mufflers in lieu of a pair of mandrel bent, TIG welded, T304 stainless steel pipes.
Factory fit laser cut flanges and 2″ dual piping has equivalent cross sectional area of a 2.85″ straight pipe, providing excellent breathing characteristics for high end horsepower as well as retaining low end torque.
Includes a new hardware kit for installation.
*Note The 2015-2017 Legacy 3.6R comes equipped with a CVT transmission. Since the CVT keeps the RPMS constant there will be more audible cabin noise than with a standard automatic or a manual transmission vehicle.
Muffler Options:
- Muffler Delete (this product): The loudest option. Removes the mufflers entirely. Has a full range of tone featuring highs, mids, lows. On its own, the muffler delete with a stock midpipe and downpipe is similar to most catback exhausts in terms of sound level.
- 5" Mufflers: Perfect for those looking for a subtle upgrade. The mufflers cancel more of the highs and midrange tones leaving a deep tone that is quieter than most catback exhausts on the market at cruise and idle, but still has a nice bark at wide open throttle.
- Dual Chamber With 5" Muffler: An exhaust that was quiet when you want quiet yet aggressive when you want aggressive. This system offers the same crisp exhaust notes that our 5" muffled systems on the outside of the vehicle, while reducing cabin noise in the low RPM ranges. literally the best of both worlds - ultra mild at cruise, and an appropriate growl inside and outside when you feel like doing some "spirited driving".

Recommended Add-Ons:

Upgrading to our long lasting Nameless Performance urethane exhaust bushings from the factory rubber bushings is highly recommended. The softer rubber factory bushings are overly flexible and if you race your car or spend time at an incline off-road, the exhaust can "wag" left to right which sometimes causes noise or the tips to touch the rear bumper. When this happens there is a chance your bumper can be damaged or if you have a hitch or any other accessories can cause annoying sounds. The best way to avoid this is to use our urethane exhaust bushings to hold the exhaust in place. These upgraded bushings are not necessary to install our exhaust systems but for the small cost of upgraded units, it is an excellent idea!
- Add 1 Bushing to your cart: Upgrade the one bushing on the midpipe portion of the exhaust.
- Add 4 Bushings to your cart: Upgrade all 4 rubber bushings on the axleback portion of the exhaust.
- Add 5 Bushings to your cart: Upgrade all 5 of the factory rubber bushings from the midpipe back.

This tool makes removing the hanger bushings a breeze. We highly recommend this tool, it turns the removal process from frustrating to satisfying.
