Whether your factory exhaust is ready for a refresh or you're just looking for a more lively driving experience, this bolt-up stainless system designed specifically for your 2015, 2016 or 2017 model year car is a great solution.

The Subaru EZ series engines sound incredible. Every time we fire one up after installing an exhaust it just brings a smile to our face. Lets do the same for you. Featuring industry leading design and manufacturing, our catback exhaust system for the Legacy 3.6R is a direct factory fit to the factory exhaust manifold and catalytic converters. Removing the two very heavy factory mufflers in lieu of lightweight stainless mandrel bent and TIG welded units from Nameless Performance featuring in-house hand built stainless mufflers. The midpipe gets upgraded to a 3" system with a resonated center section and V-band connections throughout for easy installation and longevity. Get the look and sound you want. This configuration features our 5" mufflers with a warm sport exhaust note, nothing too crazy, just enough to hear the sound of that sweet six cylinder engine Subaru engine.

The exhaust installs in a snap, just two bolts and five exhaust hanger bushings to remove the factory exhaust. Optionally install the upgraded exhaust with four of our standard urethane exhaust hanger bushings to more firmly hold the upgraded exhaust in place if you plan on any serious driving or off-roading the vehicle substantially. Or, if you just like upgrading things to upgrade them. Your secret is safe with us.

Design Specifications:

• Configurable: Choose a muffled, non-muffled or dual chamber dual exit system to achieve your desired sound level and tone.  This configuration features the 5" muffled setup.
• CNC Mandrel Bent Tubing: Using our Ercolina CNC Mandrel Bender, we bend all of the tubing for our exhaust systems in-house, and we take great care to control our bending process for high-flow function and attractive cosmetic appearance.  All of the tubing features a #4 brushed finish, including the finish on the hand built exhaust tips.
• 100% T304 Stainless Steel Construction, Precision Fabricated and Fitted Weldment: All of our exhaust systems start with superior in-house cutting and forming of all of the core components that go into the construction of our exhausts. And whether it's being painstakingly intolerant with sizing of mating parts to ensure a perfect weld, or taking the extra time to develop Go/No-Go fixturing and using a CNC press brake to ensure repeatable exhaust hanger positioning, we put in the extra effort so that you get a superior product.
• Hand TiG Welded: A huge portion of what makes our exhaust systems the quality and look that our customers expect is that all of our systems are hand TIG welded rather than auto-TIG welded like much of our overseas competition. Our exhausts are welded by hand, by a human operator who has control over all of the variables of the welding process to achieve a superior weld form.
• Superior Muffler Design: Featuring a proprietary medium density ceramic wool packing material, proprietary stamped inlets and outlet caps for long term structural integrity, our mufflers retain their sound for years, and resist blowouts like can be found in the competition, many of whom simply use light density fiberglass packing similar to house insulation in their mufflers. While the competition often times doesn't fully pack out mufflers and resonators, our vehicle-specific pre-cut packing blanks ensure that every customer gets the same sound and the same longevity of performance.
• Solid Hanger Bars: Our T304 Exhaust Hanger Bars integrated into all of our exhaust systems are made from solid bar stock, ensuring that your exhaust fits out of the box and stays where you left it. They are CNC formed for a perfect fit. This is another area where we differ from the competition. Most commercially available exhaust hangers are tubular and 400 series ferric stainless prone to excessive surface rust.
• Great Look: Upgrade your factory plastic trim rings to our stainless single wall polished and TIG welded exhaust tips for an improved look to go with the improved sound of your exhaust.

Fits 2015-2017 Legacy 3.6R. While some customers have managed to equip this dual exit system to the 2.5L models, it is designed for the 3.6L engines with a larger than stock 3" midpipe which isn't best suited to the 2.5L engines. If you have a 2015-2017 model, be sure to check out the equivalent product for your year range that fits with your specific bumper. There was a facelift at the 2018 model year and tip locations changed so the two ranges are not compatible.

Muffler Options:

• Muffler Delete: Say Howdy Get Rowdy, this system sounds amazing, but might get on your nerves a bit on longer drives and while you're under load at static RPM, but that'll be made up for by how great it sounds when you're driving the car at full song. If this is the exhaust for you, you'll likely know it in advance. If you're on the fence, definitely check out the muffled and dual chamber options we have for the Legacy 3.6R Catback.
• 5" Mufflers (this product): Perfect for those looking for a subtle upgrade. The mufflers cancel more of the highs and midrange tones leaving a deep tone that is quieter than most catback exhausts on the market at cruise and idle, but still has a nice bark at wide open throttle.
• Dual Chamber With 5" Muffler: An exhaust that was quiet when you want quiet yet aggressive when you want aggressive. This system offers the same crisp exhaust notes that our 5" muffled systems on the outside of the vehicle, while reducing cabin noise in the low RPM ranges. literally the best of both worlds - ultra mild at cruise, and an appropriate growl inside and outside when you feel like doing some "spirited driving".

Exhaust Hanger Bushings

Upgrading to our long lasting Nameless Performance urethane exhaust bushings from the factory rubber bushings is highly recommended. The softer rubber factory bushings are overly flexible and if you race your car or spend time at an incline off-road, the exhaust can "wag" left to right which sometimes causes noise or the tips to touch the rear bumper. When this happens there is a chance your bumper can be damaged or if you have a hitch or any other accessories can cause annoying sounds. The best way to avoid this is to use our urethane exhaust bushings to hold the exhaust in place. These upgraded bushings are not necessary to install our exhaust systems but for the small cost of upgraded units, it is an excellent idea!

• Add 1 Bushing to your cart: Upgrade the one bushing on the midpipe portion of the exhaust.
• Add 4 Bushings to your cart: Upgrade all 4 rubber bushings on the axleback portion of the exhaust.
• Add 5 Bushings to your cart: Upgrade all 5 of the factory rubber bushings from the midpipe back.
