Before torqueing down your pressure plate bolts, slide this tool through the center of the clutch disc and press the nose directly into your ACT PB1004 Pilot Bearing. This locks the clutch disc perfectly dead-center. Once the pressure plate is torqued down, pull the tool out, and your transmission input shaft will slide right into place with zero fighting.

While a copy of this tool is included in complete boxed ACT clutch kits (like the SB10-HDSS or SB11-XTSS), keeping an extra AT90 in your toolbox ensures you're never left high and dry if your original tool gets misplaced or loaned out to a buddy.
